Whiskey Throttle. It's a motorbike term for when a rider panics, loses their grip and the throttle just keeps opening. The bike accelerates out of control. No brakes. Pure chaos.

The phrase stuck in my head and wouldn't leave until I got it out on paper.

I wanted the lettering to feel exactly like that — speed, aggression and the feeling of barely holding it together. Built from pencil sketches, developed through multiple inked stages, then taken into Illustrator to push the colour, texture and depth. Red, yellow and black. Nothing subtle about it.

No brief. No client. No deadline. Just a phrase that demanded to exist.
